mātrāsparśāstu kaunteya śītoṣṇasukhaduḥkhadāḥ
āgamāpāyino’nityāstāṃstitikṣasva bhārata

The contacts of senses with objects, O son of Kunti, which cause heat and cold, pleasure and pain, have a beginning and an end; they are impermanent; endure them bravely, O descendant of Bharata.

mātrāsparśaḥ = sensory perception; tu = only; kaunteya = O son of Kunti; śīta = winter; uṣṇa = summer; sukha = happiness; duḥkha = and pain; dāḥ = giving; āgama = appearing; apāyinaḥ = disappearing; anityaḥ = nonpermanent; tān = all of them; titikṣasva = just try to tolerate; bhārata = O descendant of the Bharata dynasty.;
